Bitossi ceramic table lamp in the brown Sahara pattern designed by Aldo Londi.

Working order.

Lamp holder takes one standard bayonet bulb (BC).

Buying Vintage Lamps and Lighting.

It is recommended that all vintage lamps and lighting are checked by a qualified electrician even if they are shown to be working or have recently been rewired.

Within the description and the photographs that form part of this items condition report any major damage or flaws will have been pointed out such as cracks, chips and large scratches. Due to the nature of buying vintage lamps and lighting it is assumed that it may have some age related wear such as light surface scratches, marks and general wear.

Light bulbs that have been used (especially filament bulbs) do not transport as well as new light bulbs. Light bulbs that have been included with any vintage lamps or lighting cannot be guaranteed to be working after carriage therefor these light bulbs will not be treated as part of the sale.

If you see anything in the photographs that hasn’t been addressed in the description or you are concerned about condition please do not hesitate to contact me before purchase. 

 

Payment.

Payment to be made within 7 days of auction end or immediately when “buy it now” is used.

Collection only and “buy it now” items must be cleared within 7 days.

Postage and Returns.

Every care is taken to pack items in the appropriate packing materials so they get to you safely and in one piece. Items will always be sent “signed for” and/or with tracking.  

If you wish to return an item please use the packaging that it was sent to you in. The returned item must be in the condition that it was sent to you and must be returned within 14 days. The buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage and it is recommended that a trackable service is used. You must obtain a certificate of posting. Once a returned item has arrived a full refund will be issued if the item was not as described, if the return is for any other reason a refund less the original postage and packaging costs will be issued.
