YES you can buy a USED ABS Pump that has NEVER been serviced OR you can have your unit REPAIRED The main culprit on FAILING ACURA/HONDA ABS Pumps from this generation is plainly the Brake Fluid has been left in the unit for decades, leading to the pumps seizing, requiring to be overhauled. Google search what Brake fluid does over time. :)
This is a REPAIR service for the ACURA LEGEND ABS pump, specifically the 1991-1995, specifically the HYDRAULIC pump area which includes only the moving parts inside the hydrualic pump. Mail in your ABS Pump ASSEMBLY for servicing. If you are experiencing the ABS light (ABS Code 1), ABS Motor overrun in your Acura Legend, this service will conduct the appropriate repair on the hydraulic ABS pump. Upon arrival I will inspect your ABS unit.
The Repair Costs Covers:
1. Full Inspection of the ABS Unit as a whole, along with repairing the ABS Hydraulic Pump (excluding replacment of Pressure switch and/or Pressurized Accumalotor Ball unit, Upper unit aka Modulator Assembly and its internal parts, ABS Pump Electrical Motor, hoses, etc, as these are not repairable and will require replacments which can and will incur costs). Any defective parts will be identified and shown to the customer with possible solutions. Cost of replacement parts is solely based on the market value of the parts at time of procurement. This cost will be calculated by the seller when the cost is provided to the buuer. This calculation also includes the cost and time associated in procurement by the seller.
2. This repair also covers the return shipping of you unit via UPS Ground. If your ABS Hydrualic pump requires further repair, I'll contact you. If no repair is done, then shipment back to customer will be the only thing charged, the rest will be refunded back to the customer (minus cost of supplies, labor). CUSTOMER is responsible for the shipment of their ABS pump.
3. Additional replacement of parts or upgrading of parts (i.e. O Rings and kits, Rubber or Stainless Steel Hose sections, derusting and painting of ABS Assembly brackets, new bolts, will incur additional costs.
4. All prices of replacement parts are based solely on market availability. Parts ordered through the ebay seller are not warranties from the original seller to the customer. Customers understand by our chase that IF they send in a non serviceable unit, that is beyond the point of repair and requires replacment parts, those parts will incur additional costs. Customer has ability to source their own replacment parts as well and more than welcome to, of course they would need to ship the partto the seller to continue their service. If replacment parts are sourced by the seller, there is no implied warranty from neither the seller or the seller's source to the customer. Majority of replacement parts come from other used units, as these parts can not be ordered and/or not manufactured any more.
5. Reinstallation of this unit nor diagnosis of why customers vehicle is in a certain state is NOT the responsibilty of the seller. It is UP to the customer and or their technician that is certified ro have proper knowledge of how the Brake system works.

6. Unless specifically requested by the customer BEFORE their completed unit is sent back, the Customer agrees to surrender any original parts as they are normally used as core deposits in replacment parts for their service.

The listing shows 30 business days to give the seller time to ship the item to me for work. Usually upon tear down, the unit is repaired (if nothing else is wrong) in one business day, to be shipped via UPS Ground back the next business day. It does not take 30 days to fix, unless we need to source out critical parts, we will let the customer know and await their approval before purchasing parts to repair their unit. Customer also will agree to sellers work schedule which can take time away from the work shop. Due to customer having a unit that is in complete disrepair, seller will take adequate time to ensure the proper parts are ordered and installed. Customer is recommended to send in a SPARE unit to keep their current vehicle driveable. Customer is also advised to ship units via UPS to save cost. Any down time associated with the Customers vehicle is not responsible by the seller. Buyer will not hold any liability over seller for time or labor of their vehicles repair. Buyer must plan accordingly their own arrangements for travel and will not hold the seller liable for any down time the buyer's vehicle has underwent
Customers are RECOMMENDED to use COMPETENT CERTIFIED Technicians and customers alone will hold liability for their working on their vehicles braking system to include the ABS components, this includes the reinstallation and proper bleeding procedures.
It is UP TO THE CUSTOMER to ensure they UNDERSTAND they are NOT receiving a ABS unit from this listing, this is a REPAIR service, they must send in THEIR UNIT. Completing the purchase of this listing means the customer has read and understands the listing in its entirety! IF the CUSTOMER ASSUMES on their own that they are receiving an ABS pump as an item from this listing and purchases the listing, and attempts to cancel the order based on the fact they didn't read, they will forfeit a restock of $25 after the refund is provided.

Further customer and/or buyer hereby defend, indemnify, release, discharge, and hold harmless, the ebay seller, its owners, affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives, family members from any liability, loss, damages, whether personal or real, expenses, whether tangible or intangible, litigation costs by which they may incur in relation to the repair of their vehicle's ABS pump/system in the ebay seller's shop.
There is NO implied warranty for this service. Customer declares that they are at least Eighteen (18) years of age and the legal and registered owner of their vehicle and parts and they have the full authority to acknowledge this agreement. Ebay seller, Norb's Products LLC, is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the value of the unit sold or furnished. If service are found to be defective we have no other responsibility beyond the value of the defective unit itself. Only Norb's Products LLC can make the determination of the service. It is important that the customer maintains PROPER care of their vehicle, and neglect of the service does not render the Ebay Seller responsible. As stated before Norb's Products LLC does not provide any form of warranty for the work performed on these units. Items procured for repair that derive from used parts do not carry warranty as the parts and their conditions are not guaranteed by suppliers.
