17TH / 18TH CENTURY GILT COPPER & ENAMEL PORTRAIT BROOCH
Period: 17th / 18th Century.
Materials: Gilt copper & Enamel.
Dimensions: 28mm wide.
Makers marks: Unmarked.
Condition: Some very minor wear to the gilding exposing copper. A minor bend to one end. Very small chip to the face of the portrait. Overall very good. Wear commensurate with age and use.Notes: A very nice 17th / 18th century enamel gilt copper and enamel brooch, with hand painted figure. There is some sort of cloth inside the backing, so possibly a reliquary.
