A Livorno, durante una barbara incursione, una suora dell'asilo Giosue Borsi, dopo aver condotto i bambini nel rifugio, mentre l'edificio, colpito, crollava, volle sottrarre anche le Ostie consacrate della Cappella alla sacrilega offesa nemica e, uscita dal ricovero sotto il bombardamento, corse all'altare, ne levo la Pisside e la porto in salvo, tra il fragore degli scoppi e il rovinio delle mura. In Livorno, during a barbaric raid, a nun from the Giosue Borsi kindergarten, after having led the children into the refuge, while the building was hit and collapsed, also wanted to steal the consecrated Hosts of the Chapel from the sacrilegious enemy offense and, leaving the shelter under the bombardment, he ran to the altar, I removed the Pyx and carried it to safety, amidst the roar of the explosions and the ruin of the walls.
