This is a never used, new set that my mother bought for herself in Montreal at the same time I was gifted a larger set for my marriage in 1969. (See my other listing for my more comprehensive set with additional serving pieces if you'd like to have 24 place settings. I will consider a reasonable lower total price for the two sets.) I'm selling them now because I'm in my 70's and can see that I'll never use them and my heirs aren't interested in having them.
If you zoom in on the pictures my husband took, you'll notice there is no wear on the edges of any of the pieces. The only wear at all is from handling them for these pictures. They have been stored away inside my house in the pictured elegant tarnish resistant cloth bags from Birks since they were purchased. You'll also notice the detail of the open and closed handles that these pieces are not worn.
This pattern is only being sold as "made to order" now from Wallace for many times the price offered here - approximately 4+ times my price. At Replacements even a used set would cost approximately the price I'm asking.
They will be shipped out within 2 days (after payment) in the cloth bags inside two boxes with protective wrapping and with only insured verified signature via USPS (unless you request an alternate delivery service) at exact cost of shipping the pieces and the packaging.
