This little stunner was my grandmother’s. It is heavily beaded in sequins and beads and lined with synthetic silk. Handmade in Hong Kong by Billy. The lining is marked, but this can be gently soaked in wool wash and tepid water. It will also bring up the actual colour of the outside. Do not soak for a long time, and all the marks may not come off from the inside, but they will lessen a lot. I have personally cleaned many of these bags (I was a dry cleaner and a cleaner at a museum), so it can be done carefully. Do not dry in direct heat. The bag has a silver-tone omega chain with a couple of kinks, but these can be worked out or replaced if desired. The bad is 19 x 13 cm without the clasp and handle.
