Vintage Paper∙Mate PowerPoint Petite ballpoint pen, USA-made c.1979. This neat pen features a powder-blue barrel with starburst upper section accents, dark blue enamel over steel clicker, and steel trim.
From what I’ve been able to gather, the PowerPoint Petite was only made for a brief time in the late 1970’s and I’ve not even been able to find any period advertisements for the model. Lacking a pocket clip meant it was designed with ladies in mind. But, since it’s essentially a standard-length pen, the misnomer “petite” probably didn’t help it in the marketplace?
This PowerPoint Petite is in clean, pristine condition. It measures 5” long x ⅜” at center widest. There are no imperfections noted, aside from maybe some handling marks from the years that are so small you’d need a loupe to see them. I think you’ll agree that this scarce Paper∙Mate presents remarkably well.
