There is a button in each hand, a speaker in the stomach, a light in each cheek, and a battery pack that takes 3 AA batteries inside the compartment on the back. I put fresh batteries in and got no response from the electronics. Not sure if the issue is in the battery pack or the wiring inside the plush, as I can't get to the wiring without opening the internal seams. Could potentially be fixed by someone with the knowhow, tools, and supplies, but looks great on its own without the electronic functionality.
