The car has spring plank mounted couplers, well the prototype does. I did my best to replicate this, if it were operational it would be a weak part of the car, and be easily damaged.
Parts needed Microtrains couplers #1023, and Microtrains arch bar trucks #1010. Screws are provided for the trucks with the kit. The screw for the couplers come with the couplers
The kit comes with illustrated instructions.
The
kit comes with parts to make 2 cars. There is a weight cast into the
frames of the cars. There is one frame, one deck, two queen post beams, screws for the trucks and thread for the truss rods, for each car.
The kit was built using the Early EBT flat car.
