 A book with crossover appeal for children and adults, but perhaps a bit too abstract for young children just learning their ABCs. Animals are the theme here, but all their images are constructed of letters using the BEMBO font / typeface. As if that were not unusual enough, the format of the books is outlandishly wide!

Bonus item: a starred review for this title from the magazine Publishers Weekly dated March 6, 2000 - theyu call it "high-concept" and recommend it for collectors of stylish picture books.

This book was bought new in the year of publication and is in very good condition. I take very good care of my books in my smoke-free environment.
