This lovely little rug is called a Zindekh mat, made in the Boujad area. It is made of colorful wool strands knotted on a piece of plastic grain bag. These tiny rugs were made first for the babies of the family to lay on. That's why they usually come with such colorful and playful designs!

Just like some of the abstract boucherouite rugs, made from recycled pieces of textiles, Zindekh mats are now considered as real pieces of art!

Please note that this rug is real vintage, meaning it may come with some imperfections, which make it unique and charming. It's in good  condition though!
