This is a fix for the infamous broken wing peg and spring pegs that are common for the 1984 Kenner Imperial Shuttles.  If the peg has sheared off, and you still have the original gear, this will restore the function of the wings without any modification to the Shuttle wing or gear itself. Keep and use the original parts with your shuttle. This is a plug and play type of deal. The adapter slots over the 3 existing wing pegs that surrounded the center peg, and the gear keys into the adapter. For the spring pegs, the supports fit right into the existing sockets and help support the brittle plastic. Also, if one side of your peg is already broken and no longer supports the spring, these will help support the springs and restore their function. No gluing required. And since no altering of the original toy is required, the fix is completely reversible and can be removed if need be.

Since these are hidden away on the inside of the ship, the color of the plastic used to print may vary. Typically they are printed in either White, Black, or Grey. Depends on what I have at the moment.

Standard disclaimer: use this kit at your own risk. I have these installed on my personal ship and all parts work great. But every ship is different. And some Vintage plastic more brittle than others.

Please note: the gear adapters are designed to work best if your pegs are broken. If your pegs are not broken, there is a chance these may not fit. These gears contain a slip gear mechanism and the inner piece with the square hole can rotate indapendantly from the outer gear and may not be in the same alignment as the adapters. Years of play and the wings being forced down without releasing the trigger may have rotated the gears in any orientation imaginable. When the pegs are broken, no alignment is needed between the pegs, inner pieces and outer gears and the adapters works as described.
