These conical springs are a huge upgrade to the oem LT1 Lt4 springs that are prone to breaking under high load and stress. These from BTR are an alternative to the heavy dual springs that add mass / weight (and zap away horsepower) to the engine's valvetrain. Swapping these into a healthy engine will add huge reliability and give you peace of mind. These are a plug and play swap with no tuning or modification needed.
