This is a beautiful watercolor by Carmel Art Association artist Miguel Dominguez. He was born in El Paso Texas in 1941 and has had over fifty art exhibitions including in New York City, Cape Cod, Sedona, Santa Fe, and Carmel-by-the-Sea. Miguel has been an artist member of the Carmel Art Association since 1973 (50 years).

The painting features vivid colors of nature on a hillside of a forest. The title of the painting “Yellow Vines” reflects the vines growing up the trunk of a tree in the foreground with a light fog obscuring the trees in the background, wonderful contrast.
