Schering Company was originally a German Company but was federalized by USA in 1941 because of WWII. It became a public company in 1952. In 1957 it purchased White Laboratories and in 1971 merged with Plough to become Schering-Plough. These products all show manufacture in Broomfield, New Jersey before the merger with Plough.

Dilodem failed to become popular and was soon discontinued. I have not found its definition listed in any of the PDRs or Drug Index I use for reference. There is only a name listed in 1964 but no listing in 1967. There is a note in the federal records it was first used on 7-13-1959, patented 9-25-1959 that expired in 1984. I believe this product is between 1959 and 1964. A super RARE item for your collection. Metaderm was Diloderm with the addition of prednisone. This was a combination product that was discontinued because of the 1967 law change. VERWith government devaluating money some 20% with inflation, these rare collectable pharmacy bottles will increase in value.
