The micro mosaic represents a King Charles Cavalier lying in a landscape.
This composition is to be compared to the artist Antonio Aguatti.
This dog pattern was very popular. It was often reported by European travelers visiting Rome in the early 19th century. The Aguatti workshop has had great success thanks to its dog-themed micro mosaics in its production.
