A great new shaving soap which produces a dense lather with excellent cushion and glide, which will not dry your skin. This is a firm soap but mouldable, suitable for loading your brush straight from the jar. If you prefer a soft creamy soap suitable for plopping a blob into a bowl for lathering see my new shaving cream listing 'Cream of The Crop'.See some feedback left by users on The Shaving Room forum below. I was beginning to consider parting with the Vector, but then Nanny’s Soap came along and has changed my mind. It’s so dense and protective that it really does take the edge slightly off the Vector! Zero irritation, skin’s top layer intact takes the Vector shave to another level! Very impressive!'

'Second use of the soap, I loaded lighter and gave it more water.
Again it lathered effortlessly. My thoughts are very much the same as the first use. It’s an excellent soap, it’s noticeable qualities are that it has superb cushioning and density.
It can take much more water than I gave it.
I’m enjoying using it very much, particularly the scent. [Moroccan Sands]'

'I found the scent amazing [Moroccan Sands]...it’s incredibly easy to lather and got an incredibly thick, cushioning lather in record time. I found it slick but not too ‘slippy’, it was incredibly thick, more than just yogurty thick, you could have used a ruler to measure how thick it was...It’s doesn’t leave a greasy slick feel and no dryness just a moisturised ‘normal’ skin. No irritation at all was felt, just like normal skin'.

'It’s brilliant to lather. Less than 30 seconds and I had a thick lather, I then went at it a bit longer and got the amazingly thick cushioning lather I early tried to describe with ease! So it’s ideal for either being in a rush in the week when I need to be quick in the morning or perfect for the weekend when I want a more luxurious shave!'

'Firstly, I love the scent [Moroccan Sands]. It’s spicy, heady, exotic and sensuous. I agree with the comment that it smells a little like an incense stick.

This base loads very easily, a 20-30 second load provided enough lather for 3 passes, with plenty left over.
The lather quality is excellent, very dense and cushioning, which in my experience, most vegan soaps lack in comparison to tallow.
The slickness was also very good, it can take a fair bit of water and I will push it further in future. I was left with a nice, residually slick face feel on rinse off.
Very nice, and very happy.'

'Tried Nanny's Veritas Vincet Lime today ( @SoapAlchemist ) and it's an excellent soap. An easy, rich Lather which hasn't left the skin dry or irritated it. A little product goes a long way. The lime smell is just right. Doesn't smell like there's anything else lurking away in there and it's not too weak nor overpowering.'
