1:72 HERPA 580465 DORNIER ALPHA JET A, LUFTWAFFE, ERPROBUNGSSTELLE 61, MANCHING, 98+33 *NEW*

Introduction

40 years ago, the first of over 500 produced Alpha Jets, co-developed by Dassault in France and Dornier in Germany were delivered to both air forces. The German variant, the Alpha Jet A ("Appui" = support) differed in not being intended for training, but for the role as a light close-support fighter. The first production aircraft was delivered to the evaluation unit 61 in Manching, Bavaria, before a total of four fighter-bomber wings were equipped.

Dassault Alpha Jet A
Designed as part of a Franco-West German study for an advanced trainer, the Alpha Jet was first flown on November 4th, 1977.

Herpa 1:72 Wings
The Herpa "1:72 Wings" range presents detailed, ready-made diecast models of military aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Herpa "1:72 Wings" diecast airplanes feature:

Diecast metal construction with some plastic components.
Realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details.
Pad printed markings and placards that won't fade or peel like decals.

Having made the difficult decision to part with the majority of my diecast collection put together over many years, I have now listed them for sale. Don't miss the opportunity to pick up some fantastic models, many of which only come up when a collector decides to sell up.

This model was bought new and features superb paintwork and detailing. This model is an awesome, quality diecast with superb detail from renowned manufacturer Herpa.

Item Condition

Model and box in "Brand New" condition.

Photos 2 through 5 are of the actual item for sale. The remainder are from the internet to better show the model itself. Please check the photos before purchasing as the photos form part of the item condition declaration. The condition of the item at time of shipping is exactly per the photos. Please don't contact me after purchase requesting partial refunds on the basis of the item having "arrived in different condition to description". I don't do partial refunds due to way too many scammers on Ebay trying to get discounts after the purchase. I will 100% defend the condition being as described and as supported by my perfect feedback record.

You can buy with confidence. I open each of the models and review it before listing and declare any defects I can find. That said, given many models come from the manufacturer with very tiny flaws, occasionally I miss something. (I'm not perfect) so please make sure you view the photos closely and contact me if you have any questions or concerns. My feedback as a seller has always been outstanding with thousands of satisfied buyers over many years, and I always do my utmost to ensure buyers are happy with both the product and service. Feel free to read the comments to see that buyers have always felt my items match the description, are shipped on time, and well packaged to minimise any chance of damage in transit.

Please note: I describe my items as honestly as possible. I do describe items as new if I bought them directly from a retailer or re-seller as new but please understand that many of these models were produced fifteen or more years ago so the boxes will have some shelf wear which is consistent with that age and the model having been on shop shelves for a number of years. Many manufacturer's models may also have some degree of paint rash or similar issues which I look for when I list my items. Occasionally I might miss a small issue. Many sellers don't even look and simply list items outright as new. If you are the kind of buyer who is going to have a problem with the most tiny of factory imperfections or some shelf wear to the outer packaging, or have any questions or concerns as to condition, please contact me before purchasing to confirm.

Note: Due to recent scammers, I can no longer accept returns. Check my feedback and you'll see that items are as described and packaged securely for shipment and genuine buyers can buy with utmost confidence.
