We are very pleased to offer this inaugural release of the new series from Fiji featuring domesticated house cats. As the old adage goes, "You are either a cat person or a dog person." But, perhaps not. This fine Fiji Cats series might just change some minds along the way...

• Reverse: Features a finely detailed cat exploring among high grass and wildflowers. The single inscription at the upper right rim introduces the series, "CATS".

MY FAVORITE CAT

As a legal tender offering by Fiji, the obverse displays the highly distinctive coat of arms of the Fijian Islands. Inscriptions include, "FIJI 2021 . 1oz .999 FINE SILVER. 50 Cents."

As this series begins to unfold, there will be a variety of cats featured in different settings. The reverse presents this very fine first release. Depicted is a detailed image of a cat exploring among high grass and wildflowers. The cat's image fills the scene, with the vegetation gracing the background. The single inscription at the upper right rim introduces the series, "CATS" in a fun script.
