Roland MC-505 LCD Alternative/Replacement Screen

The original Roland MC505 LCD screen type is unfortunately no longer available. 

The good news however is that with some basic skills and patience it is 

possible to fit an alternative screen type, one that comes in three distinct colours, 

White Text on a Blue Background, 

Black Text on a Green Background, 

Blue Text on White Background (limited supply)

all three look cool and are reasonably easy to fit if you follow the supplied instructions.

Some minor metalwork may be required depending on which fitting option is followed, 

currently 3 different options exist for fitting.

This replacement screen will simply plug straight into the existing cable socket, 

no soldering or wiring are necessary.

IMPORTANT - This screen requires the unit to be slightly disassembled 

and thus some degree of skill and knowledge 

will be required in undertaking this in a safe manner, 

I myself have years of such experience but purchasers of this screen may not, 

so to ensure a successful outcome I ask you only to purchase this item 

if you believe you are able to fit it safely or alternatively 

contact me before placing an order to talk through some of the potential steps.

The supplied documentation is very extensive but I am also very happy to offer 

further support to those who feel able and willing 

to undertake fitting this screen themselves in a methodical manner.
