This is a modification to your existing unit. You have to send in your unit in to get this done. It is not a sale for a new unit. 3" pigtail stereo female connector added to the left side. For both SRL and SRL2.
The addition of a 3.5mm female allows you to plug in any earbud. Helmet speakers will be left in place. Adapter modification does not change functioning of unit. Both speakers and earbuds play at the same time. When you are using earbuds the audio will sound louder since the speakers are closer to your ear, making you turn the volume down. The speakers will play at that same volume and because they are further away from the ear, sound lower but not interfere. So when you use only the speakers, you will turn the volume up and when using the earbuds you turn the volume down. There is no sound degradation when leaving the speakers on.
