This item is a rare set of 3 Antique Japanese Woodblock prints on paper.

These were produced by the Japanese woodblock artist Toyohara Kunichika. 

Toyohara Kunichika was born in 1835 and died in 1900.  He was was a ukiyo-e Japanese woodblock print artist. Talented as a child, at about thirteen he became a student of Tokyo's then-leading print maker, Utagawa Kunisada.

We found these prints, on a Japanese website called "Yamada-Shoten Co. Ltd".  This was the only picture of these online and they were "Sold Out".

We used Goggle translate to get the following details from that website:

These prints are signed Japanese colored woodblock prints on paper. 

The medium is ink.  The technique is print.  The support is paper.  Place of manufacture was Tokyo, Japan.

Each of the 3 prints measures  14" tall x 9-1/4" wide.

Under the middle print, on the folder, is the stamp that bears a certification of Original Guarantee and reads the following:
"Original Guarantee, By Sakai Co. Ltd. Established 1874, Tokyo Japan".

These original 19th century Japanese woodblock prints were purchased from a large private collector in New Jersey. 

The prints were attached in tiny areas at the top two corners and placed in the pictured original trifold folder.

These prints will be shipped in the folder between an extra heavy duty cardboard sleeve and wrapped with bubble wrap and placed in a box.
