PLEASE READ: if intending to use on non M42 camera bodies

Some M42 lenses, such as this lens, only have a 'rear aperture pin', these were designed for M42 camera bodies, with the camera pushing in the rear pin to the required aperture setting.

Non M42 film and digital cameras (even if using a suitable M42 adapter) will not operate the rear pin, so all images will be taken with the aperture fully open.

However they can be converted, allowing the aperture to be adjusted on the lens, by permanently depressing the rear pin in (there's lots on the internet on how to do this)

If you are not prepared to modify the lens yourself, then I would suggest seeking a similar spec lens with a Manual/Automatic Preset switch built in, which allows adjustment of the aperture setting on the lens itself.

RETURNS
If on checking the item over, you are not 100% happy with it, I will happily refund the purchase cost & postage, once the item has been safely returned.

UK POSTAGE
As much as I would love to use 'cheap couriers', it's proven to be unreliable in the past, plus these companies do not insure lenses & cameras against loss/damage in transit.
I send Insured and Tracked to the value of the item, this costs a little more, but it's guaranteed to arrive safely & in good time.

I post out every other day so please allow a little extra time for it to be delivered.

GLOBAL SHIPPING
Postage is through 'ebay's global postage' at ebay's set prices.
Once purchased, I post the item to ebay's central UK shipping centre, where the parcel is re addressed and forwarded to the buyer, any Import tax will be shown on the buyers ebay page and will need to be paid by the buyer.

EQUIPMENT CHECKS

Firstly camera and lens bodies are cleaned & sanitized, before being given a thorough check over, anything I am unable to test, or found to be not working, will be included in the condition description above.

For cameras, checks are made on: the body condition/Programme Modes/ASA settings/winder operation/light seals/shutter curtain/shutter speeds/film compartment/battery compartment/light meter/self timer/flash synchro/viewfinder/focus screen/mirror condition.

If I have the correct film available, this will be run through the camera to ensure that the film advance, rewind & film counter are working correctly.

For lenses, checks are made on: the body condition/lens optics/focusing mechanism/aperture settings/diaphragm blades/pre-set mechanism.

If possible I will include images taken with the lens on a modern digital camera, useful as identical vintage lenses can differ in performance. The images are straight from the camera & unedited in any way.

It's worth noting that while most modern lenses rarely contain dust, vintage lenses do. Dust does not affect picture quality, and in my experience having used 100's of lenses, rarely will fungus, even in large quantities. Dust will only be mentioned in the description above if it's in a quantity that I think could cause an issue.

CONDITION MEANINGS:

body shows only slight signs of use, such as mild rub marks on chassis paint or faint cleaning marks, all tested and working, the lens optics (if fitted) are totally clear, some specks of dust may be present. Focus is smooth, diaphragm blades are clean, oil free & snappy, aperture ring clicks are smooth & tight.

Good
all functions tested and working but body has age related scuffs and wear marks, the mechanical operation may be slightly stiff/loose but is still totally useable. The lens optics (if fitted) are totally clear, some specks of dust may be present.

Average/Fair
bodily it's a bit worn, scuffed and knocked about, while it may not look its best, it is still useable.

Display
cosmetically good but not working for the reasons stated.

Spares/Repair

Untested

Mixed Condition
for example, if overall the item is 'Very Good' but it has an issue such as the light meter is not working. I will describe it as 'Very Good' but state that the light meter is not working in the condition description above.
