In its original condition, this early hand made storage box is a great piece of early American primitive utilization. Made from wooden cheese boxes, this is not only a great conversation piece, but makes a great office or kitchen storage unit. Each drawer slides in and out and is perfect for storage jewelry, notepads, paper & more. Made during a time in America when you had to make use of everything around, this piece has stood the test of time, maintaining great condition, while developing a nice age & patina over the last 90+ years.

Cabinet measures 12 1/2 inches high, is 6 inches wide and has a depth of 9 3/4 inches. Each drawer measures about 9 inches by 4 1/2 inches by 1 inch. Each drawer utilizes a tongue and groove construction technique. There is a nail in each drawer that serves as a drawer pull. Each drawer is stamped with a number on the bottom, presumably an early batch code from the cheese manufacturer.

Drawers and cabinet are in excellent condition commensurate with the age of the piece. This is a really cool piece of primitive American ingenuity!
