Early June Sears original piece of hand thrown terracotta pottery.  Applied colorful leaves and ducklings/chicks, butterflies and flowers.  Signed on the inside lip of the piece.  Bottom has weep hole for keeping plants moist.  The underside has two original stickers, one from Heaven Hill Designs, where June Sears practiced her craft in Spreckels, CA, and a second sticker from the shop where it was originally sold, The Corner Cupboard in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA.  This is an adorable planter with lots of depth and whimsey with adorable animals and critters throughout.  Beautiful deep rust-colored terracotta.  Enjoy this on your kitchen windowsill or countertop with your favorite flowering plant, seedling, or herbs planted!
