Truths about Unspun, and FEP Prototypes: Unspun/Un-riveted cars are not typically prototypes. Most hot wheels prototypes are Final Engineering Pilots (FEP) with the FEP number factory stamped on car body. A Green Card or green book that accompanies an FEP prototype is more rare than just an FEP. A mold pull is when the body is fresh pulled out of the mold and is not cleaned up, mold pulls are not prototypes. Unspun only means the car was not spun together/fixed/riveted this is removed from factory either before paint or after paint, unspun are not prototypes. A western name for FEP Prototypes are "Engineering Samples". |
Beautiful UNSPUN/UN-Riveted Vehicle that made it to the market without being fastened together by its rivets being spun hence the "unspun". The car cleanly comes apart and can be put back together with simple wheel changes etc.
This vehicle has not been drilled or cut. This was not disassembled and painted in somebody's home or shop, or "customized" like some enjoy doing. This car is EXTREMELY RARE and highly sought after by collectors and are very hard to find.
