A rare vintage World War II pocket chronograph. Brand Alpina (on the dial there is a corporate icon of a circle inside a triangle).
Chronographs with such a scale were mainly used by Luftwaffe pilots for bombing. The watch case is chrome-plated with two lids; the lids slam shut tightly.
The mechanism is high-quality gold-plated with 17 stones, Lemania caliber.
Plex glass.
The diameter of the watch without protruding parts is 50 mm.
The watch has been serviced and works great.
The radioactive light mass on the dial and hands has been replaced with a safe one.
Approximate year of manufacture: 1942.
