Highly detailed vintage hand carved chess set. All pieces other than knights and rooks have detailed human faces with noses, beards, crowns, etc. Castles even have individual bricks and columns. King measures 3-5/8" tall.
Pieces come in a faux alligator skin wooden box with felt lining for individual piece protection. Do not see any damage to pieces, some wood may show imperfections and very faint nicks or scuffs from prior storage and play. Set overall doesn't seem used much.
