Henry II of Bourbon, IIIe prince de Condé, is a prince of French blood, a fervent opponent of the regent Marie de Médicis. He was governor of Burgundy and Berry, duke of Montmorency, duke of Albret, duke of Enghien, and of Bellegarde, first prince of the blood and count of Sancerre. He is the father of the "Grand Condé".
