THIS IS A HANDMADE HUNTING KNIFE by HESS KNIFEWORKS: Whitetail/ WHITATAIL - BUCKEYE BURL #7, made in Gladstone, Michigan.  It comes with the original leather sheath.  New in Box.

"WhitaTail", not Whitetail is on the label.  It is clearly a typo, but I am quoting what is in front of me.

Hess Knifeworks was started in 2005 by the Hess Brothers.  There is a strong resemblance to Marble Knives,because the brothers worked for them for many years, when Marble was based in Gladstone, MI. 

This knife was 100% handmade. It has a beautiful handle made of Buckeye Burl wood with leather wraps, and a brass guard.  It is

7 1/4 inches in overall length.  The 1095 blade is 3" long, and has a satin finish.

New Knives by Hess Knifeworks are very hard to come by, and this one is a beauty!
