**The listing is for two chairs -- the two chairs pictured**

For your consideration is a wonderful and scarce pair of swivel lounge chairs manufactured by Stendig in the 1960s / 1970s. The chairs' design is attributed to Geoffrey Harcourt, a celebrated designer who worked extensively with Artifort in the 60s and 70s.

The chairs feature aluminum tulip bases and the original green velour upholstery. The chairs are signed in two places -- a Stendig sticker on the base and the manufacturer's label underneath the chair seat.

Note: while this listing is for the two chairs pictured, I have an additional two chairs available from the same set (total of four chairs). Please contact me if interested in all four.

Condition
The chairs are in good vintage condition -- structurally solid with minimal, but age-expected, signs of wear. That said, on one chair there is a small tear on the seat (please see picture) and on the other chair there are two small brownish stains on the top of the chair. The aluminum base on one chair has some tarnish and minor discoloration.

The foam on both chairs is soft and supple and both chairs swivel easily.

The chair seats remove easily from the aluminum tulip base to facilitate moving.

The chairs come from a smoke free and pet free home.

Dimensions of each chair:
Height: 29.5 inches
Width: 27 inches
Depth: 28 inches
Seat height: 18 inches

The chairs are a spectacular and scarce design and will be guaranteed conversation starters.

Please contact me regarding shipping prior to bidding and regardless of the chairs' shipping destination.  I may be able to personally deliver the chairs anywhere from Chicago to Los Angeles. Pick-up is also available in Denver.

Thank you!
