Original Vintage 1960's Tin Wind Up Space Whale - PX-3 Pioneer -- Trademark K.O - Japan... Wind up tin toy, space vehicle that looks like a whale... Lots of lithographed details including robot and space man in the cockpit, satellite, lots of stars, dots, and red & white striped tail... Toy is in excellent, condition and working, however the flint has worn down so he no longer sparks... Please see photos for details... Space whale measures about 9" long

Blue and red lithographed tin wind up whale. The hooped antenna is moved forward to start the action. The whale moves along with a gentle up and down motion. Slowly his mouth opens wide and suddenly it snaps shut. Sparks are emitted from behind the red panel on his back.The eyes are rolling plasti balls inside clear plastic enclosures.
