Roland TB-303 Bassline, Original 1983 with case and manual - Serial manufature date: July 83

This looks so mint it could be framed...

9.5 / 10 condition, the next level up from this would be brand new in box if you had a time machine to the early 80s.

This is £3999 based on condition, because there are below average looking ones out there for £3000

History:
I owned this for 20 years, and bought it from the original owner; a solo musician who purchased it for its original intended purpose as a programmable bass line / bass guitar accompanying box! Subsequently its was kept in the back of his wardrobe for 20 years virtually unused.

The carry case is immaculate and so is the manual.

Each page checked; completely clean, no soiling, stains or handwriting.

For the last 20 years its had very light and seldom use from me - mostly stored in a drawer at room temperate - so no extreme heat or cold, and out of harms way. I only placed batterys in when using it and always remembered to them out thankfully!

I brought it to Kenton to professionally fit the 5 CV input in 2006; and the Kenton engineer also remark how new looking it was.

The 5 CVs in still give the choice of the original internal sequencer for classic acid slides, yet the 5 CV inputs also open it up to the personality and timing of other sequencers to deeply step program all the knobs values!

My personal intention was so I could program it from a Roland MC4b (yes think AFX Analord)
(I also have a MC4b up for sale should you want to take it in that direction)

The only reason you are seeing this is listing is because I’m moving country so forced to sell all my analog studio gear (you can see my other listings)

This is one of the rare ones you’ll see listed, and I know I’ll never find another again!

If you have the money - and you appreciate the feeling of the time you experience when using the authentic originals.

You’ll have one of the few mint 303s left on the planet - 40 years later. Maybe it’s been waiting for you!
