This is a plug-in print server for the following vintage printers:
It is untested because I don't have one of those printers.  I expect that it works and guarantee it.

This will network-enable the printer (you can plug a standard RJ-45 Ethernet cable into it).  It is much faster than a parallel or USB printer connection and lets you locate the printer somewhere that is not next to a computer if you like.

There are user and administrator guides available for this if you do a search.  I don't know if you need software to use it -- usually such things just plug in and work, but one listing for one of these says "needs reset" so I just don't know.  I'm sure the manual explains how.
