A very beautiful vintage French linen & cotton ticking damask,

Lovely smaller scale floral pattern in a tone that is closest to a brighter coral shell pink. Hard to capture as it wanted to reflect light due to still having it's original factory finish (which will wash off if laundered).

Still crisp & vivid (unused)

When washed these old damasks retain their density yet soften & the sheen comes off.

***This listing is for 2 pieces, each measure 34” wide by 15” long.***

(I will also be listing another length of this in a separate listing)

Excellent for home pieces; pillows, windows, lamps as well as small decorative small period upholstery and an abundance of creative period projects; millinery, bags etc..

~* Again condition is wonderful on this. Unused remnant in very good order to work with. Again, it will have a slight gloss which is it's factory finish and gives it a dense, satin like appearance. If you launder it, it will wash away, leaving a denser cotton/linen with a more organic appeal. I noted a couple of tiny specks which I believe was actually the manufacturing.

Many thanks!!

Welcome to Pia's~

I sell antique and vintage fabric. Each textile is different; some possibly used, some unused. I will give you my best assessment. I do not always launder them nor do I know all their history, how they have been stored over time etc.. I have a 30+ year long &  extensive knowledge of textiles and gauge age ranges; fiber content etc.. to the best of my ability. As always please view all photos, dimensions etc.. as they are part of the description. Please keep in mind that I provide the best photos possible but monitors do vary. If my eyes should miss a small flaw, please know it is not intentional. I am always available and happy to answer any inquiries so always please ask if I have not addressed something that may be important to you.I

do combine shipping whenever possible. If you are an international

buyer or purchasing multiple pieces, please wait for my personal invoice

as ebay's auto. combined invoices are rarely accurate. You can do this

by either messaging me or using the drop down button that says "request

total from seller" after your purchase but prior to paypal checkout.

Again, if you have any questions, please message me.
