The ST-7 has a sandwich winding structure for the internal transformer windings. This improves the high-frequency characteristics and produces a very clear, wide-range sound. In addition, a high-quality Permalloy core and separate Permalloy shielded housings for the left and right channels are used, and the larger and heavier housing has improved vibration damping capability, shutting out external noise and vibration, resulting in a transformer with excellent reproduced sound stability.
