Description
1960's Ducati Mach I 250cc and some others, exact replacement seat by original manufacturer NISA. Differs from #423 earlier seat in that it is a more constant width at 6.5" to 7.5 wide and about an inch taller at about 5" tall. There was a transition between early and later narrow case 250cc model seats. First photo of the hump style Mach I is this seat, while other two photos are the earlier style. May fit other bikes of this same era.
Original top quality, still produced by the same family since 1953! Photos of complete seats from the NISA website, factory, and bike photos are used for reference only.
Seat sits on top of the motorcycle frame and is 6.5" to 7.5" wide, with an average height of 5". Overall seat length is 23". Rear mount is 140mm wide and 8" in front of the back end of the seat and can pivot about 3 in either direction. Front mount is 50mm wide and 1/2" from the front edge and can pivot about 2.5" in any direction.
Measure your seat frame BEFORE buying!
Original aluminum seat trim strips and grab straps are sometimes available in this same eBay store, along with complete seats. Spare parts like the frame and foam are sold separately by the factory, but price of cover and foam approches a complete new seat.
