 After the end of the stratification period , the seeds are immersed in the soil to a depth of 1 cm. Use a universal ready-made soil for seedlings or prepare the soil yourself from turf or garden soil, lowland peat and river sand. Organize greenhouse conditions — cover with glass or film, you can use special greenhouses, one-time containers with a lid. The appearance of sprouts can be observed within 1-2 months.

 After the appearance of mass shoots, you should wait until they get a little stronger, then remove the covering material. At the same time, the sprouts should be protected from direct exposure to aggressive sunlight. When 2-3 real leaves appear, a pick is carried out in separate glasses. This is the time for the selection of the strongest seedlings, the weak ones go to the cull. Sowing can be carried out in peat tablets.

 It is very important in the interim period, from seedlings to transplanting into the open ground, to provide the culture with all the conditions for full growth and development. This is compliance with the temperature regime, lighting, fertilizing, watering.

 Temperature. The ideal ambient temperature for seedlings is 18-20 °C. The entire growing period requires maintaining this interval. Sudden changes, cold or excessive heat negatively affect the condition of plants.

 Lighting. The light should be bright, but diffused. If not phytolamps are used for additional lighting, but ordinary ones, then preference should be given to LED samples with a cold white shade. The distance from the lamp to the shoots is 10-15 cm . With the growth of plants, the light source is raised.

 Watering. Small weak sprouts need mandatory humidification of the environment, that is, spraying. You can install a humidifier nearby. The strengthened seedlings are watered as the soil dries up — it should be in a moistened state. Excess moisture should not be allowed.

 Hardening. Planting unprepared seedlings in the open ground can lead to the death of plants, the cultivation of which has spent a lot of effort. 2-3 weeks before the transplant, the containers with seedlings are taken outside and installed in the shade. Gradually they are accustomed to direct sunlight and the natural level of illumination. At the end of the procedure, seedlings can already be left outside around the clock so that they get used to the daily temperature changes.

 A well-lit area is prepared for transplanting into the open ground. Roses grow well on clay soils, which at the same time should be loose and breathable. The land is enriched with organic matter and complex special fertilizers, coarse-grained river sand, small wood chips and bark, coniferous sawdust are added.
