 4.Carefully processed seeds should be placed in clean water. The water temperature should be from +20 to +25 degrees. Water should be changed twice a day.

 The seeds should germinate 2-3 weeks after placing them in water. After that, the sprouted sprouts from the container are transplanted into a large container or directly into the reservoir. The height of seedlings at the same time reaches about 15 cm, and also have about 6 leaves.

 You should take an aquarium or a plastic pot without holes in the bottom, or another container with a volume of 10 to 20 liters, fill the bottom with soil. Peat can be used as a soil. Sprouts should be planted in it to a depth of 6-8 cm . At the same time, it is necessary to make sure that the leaves float on the surface of the water. The soil is sprinkled with a thin layer of sand, then a layer of pebbles, filled with water. The ratio of soil and water in the container should be 2:1. The container is placed in a bright and warm place. And then everything depends on the quality of care for the plant.

 You can choose any landing place for the lotus. Most often, perennial plants are planted in artificial reservoirs, or germinated at home. To do this, you can use an ordinary glass aquarium, or a large pot (for 20 liters or more) without holes.

 Proper care at home for lotus sprouts is very simple: the main thing is not to forget to add enough water, give a lot of sunlight and heat. Drafts and wind should not be allowed. It is necessary to periodically add clean fresh water. The leaves of plants should not sink in liquid. You can take the flower out into the open air, but do not forget that low temperatures will ruin the lotus.

 The first flowers appear after 24-36 months. The first flowering takes about 4 days.
