It can be easily emptied, cleaned, and reused. The filter opening fits tightly around the 6-inch fill port. No insect will pass through it. The filter's heavy duty 200 micron rated felt material is thicker and more effective than similar nylon filters, therefore, easier to wash, rinse, and reuse.

EASY TO CLEAN: You can wash your felt filter sock in a laundry tub using hot water and a little bleach. Simply wring it out, let it dry, and reuse it. These felt filter socks have the ability to be reused over and over again. Don’t feel like washing the felt filter sock? No problem.
