Product Description
A 70cc Cast iron cylinder kit from Naraku for air cooled Peugeot 50cc scooters with the vertical engine. The Naraku piston is supplied with a molybdenum coating which protects both cylinder and piston during the running in process. This cylinder is suitable for use with original and performance exhaust systems. If using the original carburettor you will need to up-jet approximately 7-10% but we do recommend using a 17.5 - 19mm carburettor for optimum performance. Supplied as per image with barrel, piston, pin, clips, rings, and gaskets. ***Important Disclaimer Notice: When fitting the 70cc kits you must turn the engine over by hand to ensure the piston does not hit the cylinder head which can occasionally be an issue when using the kit with the stock cylinder head. Should this happen you would need to use 1 or 2 additional base gaskets (SKU: NK155.37) or of course use the matching Naraku 70cc cylinder head (SKU: NK102.42).
