DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Always consult a wound care health specialist when using this product. The following is to be used as general guidance: Clean the wound with sterile saline or other recommended cleansing solution. Dry the surrounding skin (periwound skin) thoroughly.
Select a wound dressing large enough that the foam part of the dressing overlap the wound edges by about 2 -3 cm and a central (confirm with your wound care specialist). Avoid maceration of periwound area. Remove the release films and apply the adhesive side towards the wound. Do not stretch. Adhere the adhesive border to the dry, intact periwound skin. Smooth out the dressing from the center to the edge without leaving any gaps, press the dressing edge to ensure good adhesion. A secondary dressing is not required, but reinforcing of the dressing by other methods (such as gauze rolls, tubular dressing) may be used as deemed necessary. Change the dressing as needed (per instructions of a wound care provider). To remove the dressing: gently lift the corner of the dressing and slowly peel off. Use saline to moisten the foam if the foam is dried or adhered to wound.
