vintage GREEN BARREL classic PELIKAN 400NN Fountain Pen - MEDIUM 14C-585 gold nib 


The 400NN was produced from 1956 to 1965. At the time Pelikan was already known for making colorful models, but the new striped barrels were a success and broke the long German tradition of designing all black models.

Today this model would be equivalent to those of the Pelikan Souverän range.  

The pen has a fine hairline crack on the cap, this doesn't affect the function, because the inside of the cap is not damaged.

Really a lovely pen!

The pen is very well preserved. It will fit into any collection and is a quality pen that will function, as a daily writing instrument perfectly.
