'Scars of sweet Paradise' Alice Echols. Paperback, ISBN:0-8050-5394-8. Another very good biography. Condition of book acceptable. No loose pages. Signs of age,as with others,have been on bookshelves and well read. Slight fading on pages.
'Janis Joplin,Piece of My Heart's David Dalton (1986) paperback.isbn:0-283-99385-5.Again,decent condition ,going on pages,well read,no damage to book.
'Pearl The Obsessions an passions of Janis Joplin' Ellis Amburn paperback ISBN: 0-446-39506-4. Again,good biography with interviews of people who knew JJ. Well read,acceptable condition. SIGNED by friend and manager John Cooke (see photos)
'Janis by David Dalton's isbn0-7145-0953/4. A4 sized rare edition of the David Dalton book listed above. Released in 1972. Quite worn,yellowish pages,but beauty is in the age of edition,and the many A4 sized photos in it. Cover as seen in photos.
'Janis Joplin A Biography' Myra Freidman ISBN 0-352-309779. Acceptable condition. Not the most accurate biography,but interesting none the less. Paperback.

'Festival Express' starring Janis,GratefulDed,The Band and others. Put a load of talented musicians on a train through Canada,culminating at a music festival. Gorgeous non scripted footage of Janis (an others) experiencing a magical journey,jamming,relaxing,touring. Great condition.

"Cheap Thrills" Big Brother. Remastered from original tapes,includes 4 unreleased bonus tracks (2 outtakes/2 live tracks,plus rare photos) Great condition.

"Janis Joplin The Pearl Sessions" A collection of never heard before spoken conversations,in the studio,live recordings,and rare interviews. All put together to accompany the last album JJ made. Pearl in it's studio form, and second disc of overheads in studio. Also great condition.
Booklet of many photos which came from the boxset. .added so you know what "Disc2" comprises of.🙂
