This beautiful Chinese Porcelain Trinket Box is made from broken shards from old Chinese vases. Some were dug up and might Possibly be dating as far back to Ching Dynasty circa 1960-1860.

The piece of porcelain is bezel set onto a silver plated copper tin lid. As you can see there is elaborate design surrounding the entire trinket box.

The unusual shape also depicts what possible broken pieces were available to make these boxes.
