This is a delightfully bizarre ex voto/retablo created by one of Mexico's unique outside artists, Rafael Rodriguez Cojas. It has been painted on a piece of sturdy tin and features the scene of an alien holding the severed head of a man’s wife. The writing gives thanks that the head was only wearing a mask and that it was really another woman(!)!
