Roger Mello may well be the most famous children's book illustrator in his native Brazil. He attends many international conferences and has been shortlisted for the Hans Christian Andersen award numerous times.
I met him at a conference in 2011 and that is where he signed this book for me. His art here is brilliant, vibrant, utterly dazzling! The book itself is beautifully made, with an intricate die-cut cover and a red ribbon to tie the covers together.
This book was bought new and is in very good condition.
