This design was requested by a repeat customer who wanted to add a head unit to the bedroll speaker kit.
This kit provides the mounting hardware to mount 4" speakers in 4" sch 40 PVC tubes and a vehicle stereo head unit.

KIT INCLUDES:
Two (2) End Brackets that allow attaching 4" speakers.
Single (1) DIN head unit mount
Hardware attach head unit and speaker mounting rings
Template for cutting tube to mount head unit.
NOT INCLUDED:
4" sch 40 PVC tube
No speakers or head unit are provided in this kit.
All kit components are black. The components are shown in Silver color in the photos for clarity only. The white tube test fabrication and is shown for scale and reference.
The end rings are designed to set into the 6" schedule 40 PVC tube and attach with four (4) 8-32 BHCS. The nyloc nuts are recessed and captured by the end ring for easy mounting. You can mount 5.25" speakers directly to the speaker mounting rings using four (4) 8-32 BHCS and captured nyloc nuts.
The kit is designed to require a very minimal amount of fabrication (drilling 3/16" holes) to mount the rings.
Pictures show silver brackets for better visibility in pictures. Finished product to be black and use tough thermoplastic material.
Major Components of the PVC Tube Speaker Kit:
SINGLE DIN BRACKET: This bracket allows you to mount a single DIN sized radio/head unit into a 4" sch 40 PVC tube. Extremely deep older style head units may not fit. If you have question please send me a message and I can verify that your head unit will fit.
The ID of the bracket that the head unit fits into is slightly oversized to provide a good fit for your DIN head receiver frame.
END BRACKETS: End bracket fits inside the 4” schedule 40 PVC pipe. Tube rings fit Kicker 4" and equal sized speakers.
The end bracket is held in place with four (4) flat head #4 sheet metal screwing directly into the tube itself. Use the bracket as the template and drill a 1/8" hole into the end of the tube to screw in the flathead #4 screw.
4” speakers can mount to the bracket with four (4) 8-32 BHCS. Kicker 4” coax speakers fit nicely into the end brackets.
All components are fabricated from a professional grade toughened black thermoplastic.
