"Air Defense - a reliable shield of Ukraine" is dedicated to the air defense of Ukraine. Today, the air defense of Ukraine is an extremely important element of the security of military and civilian objects of Ukraine and an important component of the country's national security system. Every day, the air defense forces, which include the soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force, the Ground Forces and the Navy, the aviation and radio engineering forces of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other air defense units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, have faithfully and heroically repelled air attacks by enemy missiles and drones. On the souvenir paper in which each video is packed, there are inscriptions: BANKNOTE-MONETNY DVIR NBU, logo of the Banknote-Monetny DVIR of the National Bank of Ukraine/CIRCULATING COMMEMORATIVE COIN, PPO – /TRUST SHIELD/UKRAINE; an image of the "Patriot" launcher; denomination of 10 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia.
The obverse of the coin features: at the top – the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, in the center, in the frame of the Old Russian ornament, the inscription: UKRAINE/10/HRYVEN (in a semicircle), on the background of the ornament: the minting year of the coin – 2023 (below) and the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (right).
On the reverse of the coin there is an image of the "Patriot" launcher; a stylized image of a target-detecting radar; inscription around the circle: Air Defense Forces - RELIABLE SHIELD OF UKRAINE (above).
