Introducing the Uniden SMS 925TS 900MHz mobile radio. These radios come from Uniden, a trusted name in the communications industry. Radios operate on the 900MHz band and were made for use with an LTR trunked repeater system.  However they are also capable of operating in conventional (simplex) mode.  These units are new-in-box radios and come complete with mounting bracket, wiring harness, microphone, and owners manual.  We have 16 of these radios still packaged in their originial boxes as shipped from the factory.  

The radios came to us via our recent purchase of a storage facility that was full of new and used radios, repeaters, antennas, and fleet tracking equipment. The facility was formerly owned by a large commercial communications company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area that provided LTR trunked mobile communications services for both public and private clientele.

LTR trunked communcations systems are still currently used in many parts of the country due to their inherent reliability and the high costs of a complete retrofit required to upgrade to newer technology. But if you or your company are using LTR trunked radios & repeater system --meaning older equipment- you may also be experiencing equipment failures with some of your older LTR mobile radios.
